Walt Whitman SAT Review Sessions 
Classes are taught by Whitman teachers and will be held in either the afternoons (2:30pm - 4:00pm) or the evenings (6:00 – 7:30).  Classes will run Monday – Thursdays from February 24 – March 6.  Ideally, participating students should attend ALL EIGHT sessions but students are permitted to attend sessions at their convenience should they need to work around other commitments. Registration forms available in the counseling center.  Space is limited and will accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

SCOPE's Low Cost program for South Huntington students

Project Excel SAT Prep
An 8 Week intensive SAT Prep course! Free for High school students from the Township of Huntington. The prep course will highlight each topic in the SAT, test taking strategies, study skills, and test stress relief. Hosted by Project Excel at the Huntington Youth Bureau. STEP Virtual Saturday Academy at Farmingdale College

STEP Saturday Academy is a FREE University program that provides academic support services and enrichment activities to historically underrepresented or economically disadvantaged students in grade 7-12. 

The program will be conducted on 4 Saturdays through Farmingdale State College. All participants must submit this permission slip before the designated deadline along with a copy of the student’s most recent report card. Any student who is new to STEP will also be required to complete a program application and provide a copy of immunization records

SAT/ACT Math and English- Test preparation for reading, writing, and math sections for high school students planning to take these exams in the fall or late spring. **Only students in grades 10-12**

South Huntington Public Library low cost program - $140

Mondays – January 27 and February 3, 10 & 24, 2025

6:30-8:00pm

South Huntington Library is offering a four-session SAT Prep course held at the library on Mondays from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Experienced teachers will prepare you for the exam by reinforcing specific skills. Important test-taking strategies and practice questions will also be presented.

Each student will need to purchase and bring their own copy of College Board's "The Official Digital SAT Study Guide" for this class (ISBN 978-1457316708). A $140 non-refundable fee for this 4 - session class is due at the time of registration.

Registration begins January 10 for SHPL cardholders.  Non cardholders may register beginning January 17.  Space is limited
