Welcome!

Counseling Department

Welcome to the Counseling Center of Walt Whitman High School, where we are dedicated to supporting the academic, personal, and emotional growth of our students. Our center is a safe and welcoming space where students can seek guidance, explore their interests, and find the support they need to thrive. At the Counseling Center, our team of experienced and compassionate counselors is committed to helping students navigate the challenges they may face during their high school years. Whether it's choosing the right classes, preparing for college, managing stress, or dealing with personal issues, our counselors are here to provide the guidance and resources necessary for success.

We understand that every student is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and goals. That's why we offer a wide range of services to cater to the individual needs of each student. From individual counseling sessions to group workshops and educational programs, we strive to empower students to make informed decisions and develop the skills necessary to reach their full potential. In addition to providing support and guidance, the Counseling Center also collaborates with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school community. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for the success of our students, and we actively work towards fostering open lines of communication and collaboration.

We invite you to explore our website and learn more about the services and resources available at the Counseling Center of Walt Whitman High School. Whether you're a student, parent, or faculty member, we are here to support you every step of the way. Together, let's create a nurturing environment that promotes personal growth and academic success for all students.
